Resort Overview

The Payogan Villa Resort and Spa is located in the cool idyllic environs of Ubud, the artistic and cultural capital of Bali. Set on the dramatic Sayan ridge high above the Oos river valley, comprises 23 well-appointed villas built on 15 hectares of verdant hillside traversed by 2 river system. The resort also owns the opposite riverbank, thus guaranteeing unobstructed views from each of the villas, creating an embracing sence of peace and harmony with nature.

All villas are individually designed and featured natural alang-alang grass roofing and are built in such a way that they fully integrate with surrounding river valley landscape. The Payogan Resort offers a variety of spacious villas, all with private walled garden and some with private swimming pool and outdoor bale pavilion.

The resort blessed with two rivers is a creation of authentic of indigenous design, with distinct differences in applying traditional Balinese architecture.
Grand in style but maintaining privacy and seclusion, the one and two room villas are spread out across the resort on different levels of the two riverbanks that run through The Payogan Resort Ubud.

* Muladhara Chakra Villa (One Bedroom - Garden View Villa)

A cluster of 4 one-bedroom individual villas, each featuring a private walled garden, combined living / bedroom with twin beds, large semi open-air bathroom, with sunken bath, separate shower stall and enclosed toilet and dressing room. The twin beds are converted during the daytime as day beds with comfortable bolsters and cushions. A cozy sofa settee and large floor cushions provide an ambience of leisure and relaxation.

* Ajna Chakra Villa (One Bedroom - River & Valley View Villa).

A cluster of 4 one-bedroom individual villas, overlooking a creek running parallel with the river Oos and the valley below.Each villa features an oversized four-poster bed, mosquito net and a king-size day bed inside dining table for 4 persons, writing desk and wardrobe. Beautifully hand carved teak entrance doors. Dressing room with private toilet, large semi open-air garden bathroom with waterfall. Sunken bath featuring Buddha figure carved out of stone, separate shower stall, large flower jar and private terrace. Original classic Klungkung paintings, traditional decorative urns carved out of stone, Sofa settee and 2 arm- chairs.

* Anahata Chakra Villa (One Bedroom Villa with full valley view)

A cluster of 5 one-bedroom individual villas, located at the upper Oos river bank providing full view of the valley below and the opposite woodlands and paddy fields.All villas of this category feature a large terrace or balcony with dining table, 4 console, chairs and a chaise lounge. Large combined bed room/ living room with four poster bed and divan, en-suite dressing room and open air bathroom with sunken bath and separate shower, large writing desk and selected art pieces.

* Manipura Chakra Villa (Two Bedroom Duplex Villa with private pool).

A cluster of 6 pool villas, each features 2 duplex bedroom and private pool. These villas are fully integrated duplex villas with a large beautifully landscaped swimming pool on the ground floor.
The swimming pool area also features an open air Bale with dining table and 4 chairs as well as a console. A large combined bedroom living room with a four-poster bed, mosquito net and relaxing sofa settee that opens up to the pool area with full view over the river valley.
The main bathroom features semi open bathroom with sunken bath, separate shower and dressing room. The first floor has a separate entrance and features a combined living room bedroom with en-suite bathroom, combined sunken bath and shower, balcony overlooking the pool area and the valley. In room dining table with 4 chairs and sofa settee. Both floors feature selected art works.
