This is a great location surrounded by Orangutans which are living naturally in the area and monitored in a nearby park. You will be able to view the behavior of these animal as well as dining in at the Samboja Lodge where you will sleep and get some rest ready for the next day’s activities and events.

Day 2 Balikpapan Tour - Departure
Day two of 2 Days Orangutan Balikpapan Tour is a great adventure to an island where Orangutans are being breed and looked after with the hope of reintroducing them into the wild. You will first go trekking into the forest where you will be able to help plant fruit trees which are planted specifically for the native and future orangutans in the area. This is a great opportunity to offer hands on active contributions to the island and its inhabitants. You will then get another chance to observe the Orangutans as well as seeing feeding time before you are then transferred back through the jungle to the Balikpapan Airport ready for your next trip to your next location on your next itinerary.
