3 Days Ijen Tour and Baluran National Park East Java Tour

The three day Ijen and Baluran National Park Tour is an adventure trip starting from Bali and travel by land across the west coast and through the beautiful sights of the Balinese countryside and then through the conservational National Park up to the ferry port Gilimanuk where you will take the 45 minute ferry journey away from un-spoilt Bali and into East Java. This area is refreshing and very different to Bali in many ways including culture and scenery. Once arriving in the Banyuwangi you will then warm up and stretch your legs with city tours and visits to the local market and the Chinese temple. You will then retire to your accommodation in the Ijen Resort and Villas.

The next morning Ijen Tour begins with an early wake up call so you can make your way through the darkness and twilight to the ranger's post where you will prepare for the ascent and inform the ranger of your ascent. This trek is an hour climb through the growing morning twilight and when you reach the top you will be in time to see the huge red Javanese Sun breach the horizon over the island of Bali and shed the light of the new day across this magical land flooding the panorama with the fresh tropical morning over the turquoise lake and the clear cliffs. After descending back down the peak in the new morning light you will then you will drive directly to Baluran National Park to observe the scenery and wildlife of the area. With a lunch served in a local restaurant you will have an over night stay in another recommended hotel.

Day three is another opportunity to visit the local traditional market you will then be transferred back to your hotel in Bali. If you plan to visit the west of Bali then it is a good idea to book this trip while staying somewhere such as Medewi so you can cut down on the traveling although this is not necessary it is the best way to make the most of your traveling.
